Uploading to MyScrapShop Empty Uploading to MyScrapShop

Post by liz~elenasworld Sun Feb 08, 2009 8:02 pm

MyScrapShop is set up a little differently from most galleries and forums I have been to.
It took me some time to figure out how to find my layouts once I uploaded them.

~When you are at the MyScrapShop Gallery Page you will see a few options across the very top of the page. One of these options is Upload File.
~Click Upload File and from here you will be prompted to select your layout to upload from your computer
~ Once selected, click Continue
~ You will then get a message stating if your upload has been successful
~ If your image upload was successful, click Continue
~Now you should be taken to a description screen
~You will have the option to select an Album where you want your layout placed.
If you are using strictly DancingPrincessDesigns products, than you will want to scroll down
to the MSS Designes and CT Layouts and find Dancing Princess Designs (it is about midway down)
If you are uploading to challenges, then you would need to select that specific challenge.
At this time MSS does not have the ability to place your layout it multiple galleries

~You will also have the following fields available to enter information:
File title
File description (you can link the DPD kits from the MyScrapShop here in the description)
Keywords (separate with spaces)
Credits: Kit Name by Dancing Princess Designs
Programs Used:
Fonts Used:
Did you use any My Scrap Shop Designs? -- this is where you will place the link to the product from the shop. No need to make fancy and have the kit's title hyperlinked because as of now, that wont work. Just cut and paste the link from the shop.

I hope this helps
I was having a time of it trying to figure out why my linking to the kits wasn't working.

LOL Liz I was having a time too trying to figure it out. If I click on my gallery there is nothing there. I went into the forums and there was a thread in there that someone wrote quite a while ago that said they weren't set up for it to go to the individuals gallery if the layout is posted for a designer or a challenge.
I've looked all over for the site TOU's and I haven't found that yet. Not sure if you can post other designers stuff there or just MSS products. I'm playing it safe and only uploading layouts with Jenn's products. Oh and I did do their desktop challenge and used their welcome kit for it. I wish that all the sites would be similar, it would be so much easier if they were.
